The IME Annual Fund

At the Institute for Molecular Engineering, disciplinary boundaries like chemical or electrical engineering or theoretical physics cease to exist in favor of collaborative teams focused on broad questions in quantum information technology, immunoengineering, and energy storage. Work on initiatives like these defines IME's internal structure, which encourages versatility. New efforts to address the world’s most pressing challenges will be launched as needed, and faculty will contribute across teams. This environment also provides the institute’s students with a new model of work: highly collaborative, boundless, with room to explore.

There is no academic institution in the world with this kind of powerful-yet-flexible organization of engineering activities. Your annual support of IME will harness this special character and help ensure that the best people—faculty and students—have the tools, the space, and the flexibility they need to pursue the best ideas toward the most promising solutions.
