Summer enrichment opportunities

Learning doesn’t end in June. Through Lab’s Summer Link program, qualified high school students apply to work in paid internships in University science labs and Chicago-area businesses, and the Schools are currently seeking to expand these opportunities to the arts and nonprofit arenas.
Other students embark on travel-abroad programs run by the Schools. For the first time, this campaign would provide funds for students to participate in both national and international exchange opportunities.

Support for summer enrichment opportunities will enable more students to take advantage of these life-changing experiences, without regard to family income. In doing so, they will be able to apply lessons learned when they return to the classroom from the wider world, providing a more globally inspired understanding of their subject matter.
