Kapnick Leadership Development Initiative

Legal education can be the best training for leaders in all fields, including business, nonprofit, and government. The Kapnick Leadership and Professionalism Initiative, based on a successful program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, is a leadership development class designed to enhance Law School students’ self-awareness and interpersonal effectiveness. Gifts to the Kapnick Initiative provide Law School students with an opportunity to learn critical aspects of leadership—working in teams, influencing others, conflict management, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills—that prepare them for success not only in legal practice but in any career they pursue.
