The University of Chicago Law School
The University of Chicago Campaign: Inquiry and Impact will raise $175 million to support the people and programs that define the University of Chicago Law School, and we will push forward in our tradition of academic excellence and innovation.
With your support, the Law School will:
- Attract and retain great faculty
The Law School faculty members are world-renowned leaders in the legal and political world. Through their interdisciplinary study in economics, political science, history, and philosophy, they bring new insights to the law, and their research, writings, and scholarship continue to play an important role in social and economic policy.
- Attract the most promising students
By providing an unparalleled legal education to the most talented and deserving, the Law School equips students to become the leaders of tomorrow—in law, business, and public service. In an environment that encourages innovative thought and intellectual exchange, the Law School teaches students how to think rigorously and critically.
- Enhance the programs and clinics that make us great
Through the Law School’s clinics, programs, and initiatives, students and faculty explore new ideas and evolving questions, ranging from environmental and immigration law to the complex interplay between legal and economic systems. UChicago Law also prepares students for leadership after graduation. Students enjoy a wealth of opportunities to learn complementary skills, such as business leadership, and gain practical experience in fields where law intersects with economic, social, and policy issues.
Your support enables the Law School to be great; it allows us to do the things that set us apart and is essential to the University of Chicago Law School’s continued excellence in both teaching and research.
This is a tremendous opportunity—as alumni and friends—to ensure that the University of Chicago continues to take its place among the world’s great centers of discovery, education, and influence by supporting faculty and students in their quest to define future inquiry and its impact on our lives.
