Unite scholars across disciplines at the Neubauer Collegium
Launched in 2012, the Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society allows researchers in the humanities and social sciences to approach complex questions together. Teams of scholars are asking questions related to some of the most challenging issues facing our world, from the roots of religious conflict to the spread of language to the historic causes of global environmental change.
The Neubauer Collegium seeks three types of investment to extend its visibility and impact:
- Transformative support for large-scale collaborative projects and seed money for promising research in its early phases;
- Funds to bring visiting scholars to Chicago and extend the University’s global knowledge network;
- Support for facilities and programming that help scholars work at their highest level and make their discoveries available to a broader public.
