Faculty research funds

Since its founding in 1902, the Law School has focused on creating and spreading knowledge through research into the law and related disciplines. UChicago Law faculty research—from Ronald Coase’s Nobel Memorial Prize-winning work on economic efficiency to Harry Kalven Jr. and Hans Zeisel’s groundbreaking work in understanding juries—has changed both scholarly and popular understanding of the law, as well as its influence on public policy. Your support provides critical resources, from research assistance to summer stipends, enabling Law School faculty to continue shaping our understanding of the law and the many other fields it touches.
